It's Starting to Look a lot like Christmas!

Well Chloe had her first Thanksgiving! She tried gravy and mashed potatoes. She was less than impressed with potatoes. She was as cute as ever. I bought this adorable Ralph Lauren outfit for her to wear on Thanksgiving. It was this pink sweater that bubbled out with cream leggings and of course I topped it off with a big flower headband! We ate up in Morgan with my moms family and then came home that night and got Christmas all set up! So exciting! Chloe loves the tree. A lot of the ornaments are up higher because she is quick to army crawl to them. We've been watching Elmo's Christmas Countdown almost daily and she loves to bounce to the songs - very cute!

We did a little Black Friday shopping. Brit and I bought our first washer and dryer. You would think it would be totally lame but I am totally excited! I got the red LG ones and I cannot wait till I have my own home and can use them! Today we went to my two favorite places - Chipotle and Nordstrom Rack. I could have gone crazy at the Rack but I controlled myself and only bought a few things - I even bought Brit something for Christmas!

I cannot believe December is almost here now. I am so thankful to be in Utah with family to be able to celebrate the holiday season with them. I love having Chloe around the family and seeing her with them. The other night my sister, Hailey was playing with Chlo. Suddenly Chloe just started to clap! It is so cute. If you say, "Yay Chloe!" and clap she starts clapping too. Little miss is now 7 months old, where is the time going?!

Busy Baby Girl!

Chlo is officially "scooting" everywhere! I can hardly keep up with her. She is SO fast! I had her in the family room playing with some toys and she scooted herself to the bin that holds all her toys and was trying to see what else was in there, I thought it was pretty cute! xo

Finally a Moment!

It is 4:50 and Chloe is just going down for her first nap and I finally have a moment to write! Big news, her first tooth came in! It is on the bottom right side. In a way it makes me sad because she isn't this little baby anymore, she is growing up. Her new thing is this cheesy smile. She scrunches up her little nose and closes her eyes and grins, so cute. My dad almost always gets the cheesy grin. In other news she is rolling EVERYWHERE! I can't keep up with her, she is so fast. She is also attempting to crawl a little bit too. She lifts her bottom in the air and kicks forward with her feet to get to what she wants, time for the baby gates to go up!

The pictures are from Chloe's 6 month photos that my cousin Tasha took. I LOVE them! Chlo has the bluest eyes and cutest pink lips. I love the picture of her with the hat on and the black tutu. Wait till you see the outfit I bought for her Christmas pictures - oh my heck, SO cute!

In other news, I cook now. Many of you reading this know that I never used to cook, but now that I am not working and I am home I am learning new things. My mother-in-law gave me this yummy (and very easy) recipe for chicken noodle soup and I've now made it twice in the last two weeks. We were sitting up to eat last night and my younger sister Emilee said to me, "This is so cool Amy, you found something good to cook AND your actually good at it!" I couldn't help but laugh!

Getting Started...

After always saying I was going to blog, I am finally doing it! I suppose I want to document all about my adventures as a wife and new mom. So...here we go!

I am married to an amazing man named Brit. We've been married for four wonderful years. I am also the mom to a beautiful baby girl named Chloe. Aside from never sleeping - and I mean NEVER sleeping - she is giggly, goofy, and full of smiles. She is a petite little thing weighing 13 pounds, loves to roll and being tickled. Everyone told me she would be sleeping through the night by six months...but instead she is still up at least three times a night. Naps...what are those? She isn't a fan of those either. She just loves to be with her mama! I LOVE being a mom and aside from my husband it is the greatest blessing in my life.

Well here's to blogging and documenting my adventures as a new mom! More to come! xo
